It is the very small restaurant only for counter seats.Reservation-only(A reservation is required). The dinner is expensive, but the lunch is not slightly so. Highly recommended! However, the reservation is very difficult. Usually we must make a reservation over 3 month before.

Unasei It is the nearest restaurant from AbcdeFlat Kitayama. This restaurant specializes in eel. It is a small restaurant. As the chef cooks the eel after visitors come, so it takes time a little. As the chef cooks the Japanese eel, it isn't cheap. But I think it is good value.

It is very famous cheap restaurant. All you can eat is for only 550 yen. But please be careful to take too much as there is a penalty when you leave something which you take. It is on the first floor of the big bowling alley and game center.There is a Free WIFI spot on the second floor of this building.

Yakimochi (the grilled rice cake with red bean jam.) / Wagashi(Japanese sweet)

Yakimochi is very simple grilled rice cake with red bean jam. But it is very famous as a cake of the Kamigamo Shrine door front.

Zinbado
This shop is the stubborn long-established store which was particular about a tradition. Although this shop is minor for a tourist, it is popular with local gourmets. When sold out, store is closed. So we must go to there early morning.

ShinOmiya shopping street and Daitokuji-temple area

ShinOmiya shopping street and Daitokuji-temple area is rather expensive than Misonobashi area. But some are inexpensive. The tea houses of Aburimochi at Imamiya-shrine is very famous. They have over 1000 years history. They keep a traditional atmosphere.They are very famous for the TV drama and the movie here. It is highly recommended.
